Bio: Hey there! Thank you for stopping by and finding interest in my creations as well as me! I am a twenty eight year old gal from beautiful central California in which I love! There are so many beaches within ten minutes to two hours near me, for this is the best part!
My main passions are definitely fashion and interior design! They truly enrich my life in many different ways. One aspect I absolutely love is color among using it in harmonious ways. For example, I designed my website from the images and the buttons to the layout in a harmonious triadic color scheme. Moreover, I'm addicted to fabrics as I have hundreds and hundreds of yards of them. I love their texture among their printed, embroidered, or woven in designs. The best part of all is choosing harmonious colors of fabrics together to create beautiful three dimensional designs; that is, uniquely embellished cases & clothing among interior designs of mine!
I sewed my first items which were a pillow and an apron in seventh grade home ec class! That same year for Christmas I received a plastic toy sewing machine which worked, but not very well. I made a reversible vest and a pair of shorts with the help of a friend around the same time on a regular sewing machine. Then, I moved far away from those friends, so I didn't have a decent enough sewing machine to continue on my own.
When I was 19, I was interested in the rave scene which isn't such a good scene in my now mature opinion. Though I only lasted a year or so in this scene, for I knew it was time for me to move on to much healthier things! I know everything happens for a reason though! If I hadn't entered that scene, I may have never rekindled my love for sewing and design! I taught myself how to sew from consistently reading books and sewing patterns! I was able to create my own clothes for parties. I saw that their was a demand for these clothes on eBay, so I made my own unique creations and sold them on there starting in 2000. I haven't been making raver clothing to sell for at least seven years now, yet I have sold many other uniquely embellished women's clothing designs of mine since then. I started selling under the name lilchrishugs on ebay in the summer of 2000. I have perfect feedback under that seller name on eBay from Sept. 8, 2000 to May 26, 2004, yet I no longer use that account or name. Then, I changed to a new eBay account and name to Customdesigns4u in 2003 and I have used it off and on since. I worked at a drapery company for a while too, for this is why there is a gap in dates between some feedbacks.
Recently, I changed my eBay name to creativeicases. Christina's Caparisons for my fashion clothing line is my final name change as I brainstormed long and hard to create my new creative business name!
Interests: I love spending time with my family with a good movie or book at home, yet I also love the outdoors even more so!
